Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Pokhara – Gateway to Annapurna

Arrive in Pokhara, a scenic lakeside city and the starting point for many trekking routes in Nepal. You’ll meet our team at Mountain Goat Trekking for a short briefing about your upcoming adventure. Enjoy your evening at leisure around Phewa Lake, with stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range.

Day 2
Drive to Nayapul & Trek to Tikhedhunga/Ulleri (1,540m/2,050m)

A short drive takes us to Nayapul, where the trek officially begins. Walking through lush forests and traditional villages, we reach Tikhedhunga or Ulleri. This route is filled with scenic beauty and is a perfect start to your Annapurna trekking adventure.

Day 3
Trek to Ghorepani (2,860m)

We climb through beautiful rhododendron forests and reach Ghorepani, a charming Magar village. The trail provides incredible views of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South, setting the tone for the panoramic experiences ahead.

Day 4
Sunrise at Poon Hill (3,210m) & Trek to Tadapani (2,630m)

A highlight of the trek is the early morning hike to Poon Hill, a world-famous viewpoint in Nepal. Here you’ll witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Afterward, we trek to Tadapani through dense forest trails and ridges.

Day 5
Trek to Chhomrong (2,170m)

The trail descends and ascends through forests and villages until we reach Chhomrong, a traditional Gurung village offering magnificent views of Machapuchare (Fishtail) and Annapurna South. This village is a key entry point to the Annapurna Sanctuary.

Day 6
Trek to Himalaya Hotel (2,920m)

Passing through Sinuwa and Bamboo, we move deeper into the forested trail. The sound of rivers and waterfalls accompanies us as we ascend to the peaceful Himalaya Hotel area, located near the Hinku Cave.

Day 7
Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machapuchare Base Camp (3,700m)

We continue through alpine meadows to Machapuchare Base Camp, then on to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). Surrounded by towering Himalayan giants like Annapurna I (8,091m), this is one of the most iconic and spiritual spots in the Himalayas.

Day 8
Sunrise at ABC & Trek to Bamboo (2,310m)

Enjoy a stunning Himalayan sunrise from ABC before descending back to Bamboo. The descent offers a different perspective of the terrain and is much easier on the knees.

Day 9
Trek to Jhinu Danda (1,780m) – Natural Hot Springs

Today we head to Jhinu Danda, famous for its natural hot springs. After days of hiking, soaking in these warm waters is the perfect way to relax your muscles and rejuvenate.

Day 10
Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m)

We continue to Ghandruk, one of the most beautiful Gurung villages in Nepal. You’ll have time to explore the traditional houses, interact with locals, and enjoy spectacular views of the Annapurna range.

Day 11
Trek to Nayapul & Drive to Pokhara

We descend gradually to Nayapul and take a scenic drive back to Pokhara. The rest of the day is free to relax, go boating on Phewa Lake, or enjoy the lively streets of Lakeside Pokhara.

Day 12
Free Day in Pokhara

Take a day to unwind or explore the tourist attractions in Pokhara like the Peace Pagoda, Davis Falls, and caves. Optional activities like paragliding or ultralight flights are available for adventure lovers.

Day 13
Departure / Onward Journey

Your incredible Annapurna trek concludes today. Our team will assist you with transportation back to Kathmandu or your next destination in Nepal.
