Everest Sherpa Village Trek gives a wonderful trekking experience to explore the Sherpa town of the highest human settlement. Occupied by the amazing ethnic Sherpa individuals, this trek offers you the local involvement with an exceptionally pleasant settlement of the Sherpa individuals and experiences of their unique culture and living style at icy, immature bumpy district. This trek is one of the great treks in the Khumbu area. Starting in Jiri, you will cross many ups and downs of the Himalayan foot slopes and head up into the heart of the mountains that make up the Everest Range. You will go through numerous customary Sherpa Villages and get a chance to stay with the Sherpa individuals. The Sherpa individuals are local to the region and are well known for their mountain climbing abilities. They have an alternate and intriguing society and lifestyle. This trek permits you to explore their way of life and interface with the Sherpa individuals, going to their villages and homes, eating their food and experience their religion and lifestyle. DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, one of our delegates will pick you up and escort you to your designated hotel. In the hotel, you will be briefed about the further plans of the trek.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
After breakfast, we will be visiting UNESCO recorded world heritage sites such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath (monkey temple), and Pashupatinath in Kathmandu Valley the entire day. Stay overnight in Hotel.
Day 03: Flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding
After breakfast, we will take a flight to Lukla. During the flight, you will encounter the astonidhing perspectives of Himalayas of Nepal including Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Makalu (8,463m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8153m), Mt. Lhotse (8,501m), Mt. Lhotse Shar (8,393m), Kanchenjunga, Gaurishankar, Ganesh, Langtang and so forth. From Lukla, you will head up the Dudh Koshi Valley towards Phakding.
Day 04: Trek to Namche
From Phakding, we will leave for Namche crossing the streams and reaching Monjo which is the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. From there, we will take the best path in order to finally reach Namche.
Day 05: Rest day in Namche
The fifth day is our rest day. If you want, you may visit Khunde Hospital which was set up by Sir Edmund Hillary and Everest View Hotel for evening glimpse of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam.
Day 06: Trek to Thame
From Namche, we will progress towards Thame, which is an old Sherpa town dwelling along the Bhote Koshi river valley. You will be hypnotized with the point of view of Tibetan explorers with many Yak prepare moving to trade items at Namche.
Day 07: Trek to Khumjung
Continuing with the experience, the objective for the day will be Khumjung. Khumjung is another mind blowing Sherpa town where trekkers watch and explore the traditions and social orders of neighborhood gatherings. Besides, you can similarly get splendid view of Himalayas like Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Ama Dablam and many more.
Day 08: Trek to Phortse (Sherpa town)
Today we will trek from Khumjung to Phortse. Phortse is the rule Sherpa town around this trail where you can again watch and welcome the socio-cultural part of the gathering.
Day 09: Trek to Pangboche
Today, we will have to walk downhill. From Phortse, you will proceed with the excursion and pass Khumbu Khola, Imja Khola and the suspension bridge before touching base at Pangboche.
Day 10: Trek to Thyangboche
The trail follows towards Dudh Koshi from Namche. You will also encounter views of great peaks of the Khumbu region including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam. As you move downwards, you will pass through several Sherpa villages and teashops. On the way, you will see Rhododendron bushes with beautiful birds and superb mountain scenery. Finally, you will reach Thyangboche.
Day 11: Trek to Namche
From Thyangboche, your trek will continue towards Namche. The trail will take you across streams and rhododendron timberlands amidst the points of view of Tawache, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kantega and Thamserku mountains.
Day 12: Trek to Lukla
This will be the last trekking day and the destination for the day is Lukla. After reaching Lukla, during the evening, we will have some rest and after that try the beverages prepared by nearby Sherpa people group.
Day 15: Flight to Kathmandu
Today after breakfast, you will get onto a flight to Kathmandu. The whole day in the capital is free for some shopping and refreshment.
Day 16: Depart Kathmandu
After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take you to the international airport for your flight home. If you want to continue your stay in Nepal for short tours i.e. National parks, rafting, mountain biking, hiking, etc., please do let us know. We will be proudly serving your needs.
