Overview
The Dolpo locale is best known about for its remoteness and isolation. The trial follows the the hidden trail which is used by the local people of Phoksundo region. Lower Dolpo Region is one of the last leftovers of conventional Tibetan culture. Legend says it’s a one of the “concealed valleys” made by Guru Rinpoche as a sanctuary for Buddhists in agitated circumstances. Encompassed by high mountains including the Dhaulagiri massif toward the south-east and cut off by high passes, the Dolpo region of Nepal has been shown in all its integrity and full mystical experience.Lower Dolpo Trek presents an astonishing trekking experience in the remote western district of Nepal.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, one of our delegates will pick you up and escort you to your designated hotel. In the hotel, you will be briefed about the further plans of the trek.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley
After breakfast, we will be visiting UNESCO recorded world heritage sites such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath (monkey temple), and Pashupatinath in Kathmandu Valley the entire day. Stay overnight in Hotel.
Day 03: Fly to Nepalgunj
Today you will take a flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj which takes around 40 minutes. The journey is best delineated by the excellent perspectives of rich unsettled territories and astounding Himalayan perspectives of Nepal.
Day04: Fly to Jhupal (Dolpo) and trek to Dunai
After breakfast, you will take a flight to Jhupal, which takes around 45 minutes over the high mountains in the midst of the perspectives of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri tops toward the north. The trek will then start through the terraced fields to the Bheri River and subsequent to strolling around 2 – 3 hours, you will reach Dunai which is the headquarter of the Dolpo area.
Day 05: Trek to Tarakot
Today your trek will proceed with the southern bank of the river heading upstream on the trail. In transit, you will encounter significant abysses and restricted towns. Tarakot town remains on a hillock toward the south of Bheri River, which at one time was overseen amassing purpose of joining of tolls for the exchanging bunches.
Day06: Trek to Laini
Today, we will follow the path to upstream Tarap Chu River, crossing the bridge and crossing the same river twice. The famed Sandul Gompa lies farther east from Tarakot and at the junction of Barbung khola and Tarup Chu Rriver. The path leads through the terraced farm sand rural villages. After few ups and downs, you will finally make descend to reach your last destination for today, Laini.
Day07: Trek to Nawarpani
Leaving Laini, you will proceed with your trek to Nawarpani. The walk is very energizing as the valley gets to be distinctly restricted crevasse and in a few spots you can bounce starting with one side then onto the next. You will then drop to Chyugur Khola lastly reach Nawarpani.
Day 08: Trek to Do Tarap
Today, you will head to Kamattarka. Following couple of hours of walk, you will leave the narrow crevasse and from here the way leads simply above tree lines and wild rose. Another three or more hours of walk and you will reach the vollage of Dho Tarap encompassed by a sporadic stone wall. In this Valley both Bon Po and Chaiba factions live together. Tarap is additionally occupied for the most part by Magars who have lived here for some eras, and couple of Tibetans as well.
Day09: Acclimatization day
After consistent trek of nine days, this day will be a rest day. You will spend your whole day taking complete rest, considering and making plans for upcoming trips and getting habituated to your trekking targets. You can correspondingly move around the Do Tarap and visit Buddhist Gompas– Bon Gompa and Nyingmapa Gompa, becoming more acquainted with nearby community.
Day 10: Trek to Numa La Base Camp
This day you will move towards Numa La Base Camp. Your trekking trail follows along the upper Tarap valley with plain rich verdant grass on both the sides of a stream, which is completely remarkable in association with different parts of Lower Dolpo. The trek for the day will finally come to an end reaching Numa La Base Camp.
Day 11: Trek to Pelung
From Numa La Base Camp, you will have a long trek ahead. Right off the bat, you will cross Numa La pass at 5,190m. This is the place you can have a mind blowing clearing perspective of the heaps of Dolpo up to the Dhaulagiri Himalayan ranges. After strolling for a while, you will reach Pelung Tang.
Day 12: Trek to Dajok Tang
After breakfast, your trek begins with a lofty move to get to the highest point of Baga-la edge at 5,070m.The edge offers phenomenal perspectives of the encompassing scenes and inaccessible snow topped pinnacles of Kanjirowa Himal pass. After a grand minute at the pass, right around three hours of downhill walk will take you to Dajok Tang.
Day 13: Trek to Ringmo
Today, your journey will continue through the pine forest. Upon leaving the forest,vegetation changes to pasture fields and alpine shrubs through most of the way to Ringmo.
Day 14: Acclimatization day and move to Phoksundo Lake
Today will be your rest day and you will spend the whole day taking complete rest, making plans for anticipated outings and getting habituated to the trekking targets. Regardless, on the off chance that you wish, you can move around the Shey Phoksundo Lake, Tibetan cloisters and Ringmo.
Day 15: Trek to Shyanta
This day you will trek downhill to Chepka. The course then encounters the towns, before moving to Shyanta.
Day16: Trek to Jhupal
You will continue with the trek following the trail gently inclining upwards. You will then move towards Jhupal via Sulighat. From top of the edge, you can have the most phenomenal points of view of the mountains and Jhupal.
Day 17: Fly to Kathmandu via Nepalganj
Today after breakfast, you will get onto a flight to Nepalgunj and catch another flight to Kathmandu. The whole day in the capital is free for some shopping and refreshment.
Day 18: Depart Kathmandu
After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take you to the international airport for your flight home. If you want to continue your stay in Nepal for short tours i.e. National parks, rafting, mountain biking, hiking, etc., please do let us know. We will be proudly serving your needs.
